The Vector hair removal system has been designed to permanently remove hair from unwanted areas. It is the only hair removal system on the market that has the same output as professional electrolysis machines. This machine will save you hundreds of dollar

A waste of money

For the cost of this product, it is a total waste of money. In addition to being very poorly made (several parts of mine broke within days of receiving it), it has made very litte difference on me in terms of hair removal and I've been using it for 3 solid years. (I made the mistake of buying second one a year after the first one thinking I received a lemon the first time around, but the second one was just as poorly made and ineffective.) While their customer service reps were wonderful (I had to replace a total of 4 parts over the past 3 years) the system itself should be taken off the market.

returned-burned skin

I tried this product after reading the reviews. I worried about the ones that said that the skin burned. I have had the same problem! I am a reasonably intelligent person, rule/direction follower and good with technology, but there was just no way around it. there is no way to get the conducting gel ONLY on the hair, hold it close to the root and wait until it comes out gently without at some point touching your skin. It has been aver 3 months and i still have scars, and will likely need to try a lightening cream to get it to go away completely. Thankfully I did not tryb anything on my face first!
Save your time and skin and save electrolysis for the professionals....some things are worth paying someone else to do!

Works

I purchased this sytem about 2 years ago and I have used it on various parts of my body and I have to say that it definitely works. The hair that was treated did not grow back and in fact hair does not grow back after just one treatment, even though the company recommends 2 - 3 treatments.

Although, I have to say that the Vector System is really not practical for large areas. For example it would take forever to remove all the hair on the legs since hair is being removed one hair at a time. The Vector is perfect if it is being used on facial areas or areas where only a patch of hair needs to removed. On these areas the hair can be removed quickly and you never have to deal with the hassle of tweezing anymore.

So for this reason I am going to give this product 4 stars since I can say I got my money's worth.

Also, the company offers terrific customer service with very fast reply to emails.

A Total Scam

Don't waste your money with this product. It is extremely difficult to use! Applying the gel to the hair only and not having it touch the surrounding skin is impossible. And those treated hairs just grow back. Does not work!

Great product gets the job done !!!! Love it !!!!

I received this product and I didn't use it right away,I was a little intimidated by it initially with out even opening the box. The directions are clear and consise.I used the product and I absolutely love it . I have paid a lot of money in the past to have electrolysis on my face and to be able to do it myself is liberating. The product is easy to use and once I'm done with my face and neck it is as smooth as a baby's bottom. I highly recommend this product. It is worth every penny.

Customer Review :

This electric shaver shaves nicely. There is no need to waste money on shaving cream, razor refills and nasty disposable razors.

This electric has great features and is better than wasting money on razor blades and shaving cream.
I even tried a different yet very famous rotary shaver Mfg 7yrs ago. I returned the famous brand rotary to the store and demanded my money back.
This modern remington rotary shaver is my new rotary favorite shaver for now.
Talc is made from minerals that will dull cutters twice as fast.
Washing your face with a non moisturizing soap and drying your face really good works fine.
The motor runs good and is quiet and the nice case holds everything too.
Plan on 5-6 minutes shave time minimum for this electric shaver.
This electric shaver if moved slow for more cutter rotations per surface area it will shave reasonably close without the irritation of refills or disposable razors.
This electric shaver clean up seemed a little easier than dry foil shavers unless the foil can be rinsed under water.
I paid 37.99 for this great electric shaver. This will save me approx 111.91 if it continues to shave great and lasts 1 yr.
The best expensive razor refill I ever tried lasted only 3 shaves. 365 divided by 3 = 121 individual razors or 10 12 packs at 14.99 for an approx annual expense of 149.90

No cut shaver

The shaver cut worse then the one I have at home with worn out blades. I sent it back to the manufacture and told them of the problem. They sent it back to me. I will never buy a Remington brand product again.

A blot on the Remington name

This is sadly a dreadful cheap shaver. Target was selling it for half price, and now I know why. After a lengthly first shave with way too much tugging/pulling of hair, I opened it to find some cheap brass-looking cutting heads that aren't very sharp. Contrasting it to past shavers and a new Norelco I just bought to replace this, the heads are very poor. Add to that an awkward triangular body shape that is an irritant to hold while moving around the face, an LED 'low charge' indicator that looks like it is on when it isn't, and when the charge is low it doesn't slow down it just abruptly stops. I wish I'd returned it immediately, but used it for nearly a month and my opinion of it remains the same. After a more careful search I've replaced it with a Norelco 7180XL which goes for about the same price, and it is clearly superior (with a full review to come later). The best thing I can say about the R600? It was easy to remove from its plastic packaging, far easier than many products.

I'm not sure how long Remington thinks it can sell a product like this without permanently damaging their reputation, but as another reviewer said this is my last Remington product.

Ok shaver

The charge last for about 3 or 4 shaves for me. It takes a little to long for me to shave with it. I'm not sure if I like the smartfoil or not. When I'm finished and I wash my face I seem to really notice where I missed. Then I have to let my face dry and shave over the missed spots. I also have to press a bit to hard in some spots. Does ok on the neck. It doesn't irritate my skin which I like. Over all it is a good quality shaver with an ok shave.

Excellent Product!

I've had three Panasonic shavers. The first one had two cutter heads, cost $40 and was satisfactory. When Panasonic came out with a three head model for $80 I thought it would be better -- and it was. I really liked it but I dropped it and it broke. By then they had introduced their new "Vortex" super duper shaver which I paid $140 for and expected it would be even better than the predecessors. That was a mistake.

The $140 Panasonic "Vortex" was a complete clunker. It pulled, it left long hairs behind and it never worked in the curve of the neck and around the nose. It came with a cleaning "system" that I used only once because it didn't clean the shaver half as well as a manual rinsing did.

After about six months of use the "Vortex" started up by itself at 3AM, woke me up and wouldn't turn off. I sent it in for warranty service, which took three weeks. About six months later (yesterday)it did the same thing. So I tossed it.

Having learned that the price of a shaver doesn't ensure quality, I picked up the Braun 4775 at Target for $60. I've just used it for the first time and I am impressed! This is an excellent product in every aspect; it is superbly designed and built (typical German quality) and it's been a while since shaving has been this comfortable and close.

I didn't realize how accustomed I'd become to the "Vortex" pulling at every stroke. This Braun didn't pull once and it did a perfect job on the neck and around the nose.

I recommend this shaver very highly. Well worth its competitive price.

Customer Review :

Not the most durable

I purchased this razor hoping to avoid the hassle of "real" razors, and all the burn they leave. I have only owned one other electric razor in the past, and I remembered it working quite well.

I was disappointed that the Remington did not give me a close shave at all, but left much more stubble than expected. I also find that it frequently allows me to "miss spots", even after going over them several times.

I only purchased the razor a month or two ago, and have come to use it very infrequently. Today though, when I attempted to use the Remington I felt a sharp sting and realized that the "hypoallergenic" metal foil is torn across, and not from excessive use or force either. I would not recommend this product, because it has been a quick loss of forty dollars.

Oh and the noise level? High.

Easy to use with good results

I've never used an electric shaver before and ended up buying this one. After the 24 hours of pre-charging the batteries, I was anxious to try this one. I must say that I'm very pleased with the results. It was super easy to use and worked easily over my knees, behind my knees, ankle bones.... I have sensitive skin and didn't have any trouble at all using it dry with no lotion or anything. I loved that the "on" button clicked all the way on and off so I didn't have to hold it down. The only drawback is that it's loud. My husband was watching tv 2 rooms away and I had to close the bathroom door b/c it was so loud even to him. Other than that, I would highly recommend this product.

Good on Legs - Bad on Underarms

I have very sensitive skin and shaving with a razor is pretty much out of the question. I bought this shaver because of the hyperallergenic features. The first time I used it my legs felt great but my underarms were red and painful for three days. I read the instructions only to find that it is not recommended for use on any area of the body except legs. I am currently in the market for a new underarm shaver.

Question : Can somebody body tell me how many people suppose to be in a wedding besides bridesmaids and groom men?
Can somebody body tell me how many people suppose to be in a wedding besides bridesmaids and groom men?

Answer:
Depends on your culture and traditions. I didn't have anyone in my wedding. No attendants, bridesmaids, not even a maid of honor. Traditionally we have the bridesmaids, groomsmen, maid and/or matron of honor, best man... or woman, ring bearer, flower girls. Oh. And let's not forget the bride and groom.

Question : What causes a body odor even if your very hygienic and health conscious?
I have friend that is very well groomed and health concious, eating the right food and taking a bath though not often as in every other day because he gets feverish if he always wet his hair specially in cold season but the problem is he still have a body odor and I gently advise him to use deodorant and he tried but he gets allergies in the armpit so he stopped. I wish I could help him but even I hesitate to mentioned that too much to him for fear of hurting his feelings. How can I help him to lessen the smell in natural way without resorting to surgery? please advise.

Answer:
That's not so very hygienic and health conscious. Body odour is caused by bacteria. The natural oils and moisture that your skin releases protects you and attracts bacteria. Some people are afflicted worse than others. I don't think there is surgery for it... you seem to know.... but to rid yourself of dreadful body odor, there is no good answer, but to bathe regularly, replacing those natural oils with something scented that is more appealing. There are low allergy soaps available. Salty water is also good btw. An anti-bacterial soap with lavender for example.... a good quality shampoo and conditioner used daily will also help conceal it... and an antiperspirant deoderant with a matching cologne..... oh,... and maybe this person bathes twice a day but wears the same clothes for a week... so a good quality scented washing powder and regular change of clothes is also a useful ploy to adopt..... How do you handle this as friend? Go to the laundromat together?.. Nope. talk about it.. people don't learn unless they communicate.... you get to learn how to be diplomatic and achieve what you set out to.. they learn to smell like a rose... If none of these alternatives work, then I understand there are prescriptive medications available for these symptoms.

Question : more grooming products...?
Hi. Can people list me some good grooming products for my twh mare? She's black. I want grooming products for her body, mane, tail, hooves, and face. She has a white stripe down her face, i want something to brihten it up. Please post products for all of the above. Thanks, Brianna

Answer:
Oh basic brushing and grooming you want a curry comb, there are 2 types a metal shedding curry and a rubber curry. I have one of each. You want a face brush. it's small and mad eof super soft bristles so you can safely groom around her face. Then there are the body brushes. Once again there are several types I have one of each texture a stiff one for whisking away dry mud , a med bristled one for a slightly deeper cleaning and getting the finer stuff off and a soft body brush for slicking the hair back down and putting a lil shine to it. Mane and tail you'll want a mane and tail comb or brush but don't brush the hair all the time as it breaks the shafts and will amke a shirter britle mane or tail. Brush maybe once a week. Definately use some sort of condiotner detangler when you do brush it to help prevent tangles and damage. As far as shampoos go there is a line of color enhancing shampoos by Rio Vista. they work awesome. Now for a conditoner after shampoosing I actually like to use Cholesterol on their manes and tails. it's the stuff that ethnic girls use ontheir hair. You slather it in, let it sit and then rinse out, leaves hair super shiny and softer AND helps it grow!!! As for the white strip down her face you can wash it with white n brite shampoo but don't wash her head like you do her body, do whats called hot towel batheing. Fill up 2 buckets of hot water (not too hot tho) and get a bunch of white rags. Dunk one rag into a bucket of clean warm water , wring it out until it is just damp, not dripping and add a drop of shampoo to the rag. Work the shampoo up and down the blaze well. Dunk and rewring that rag as needed to get the blaze slightly sudzy . Then take a clean rag dunk in the 2nd bucket wring and "rinse it away with the non sudsy rag) For the hooves unless you are showing I would just keep a good hoof condiotner on them such as Rain maker , hoof heal or hoofflex. Also you will need a hoof pic to clean her hooves out and in case of thrush keep some Thrush Buster on hand. One application cures the thrush right up. Hope this helps

Question : What is your opnion of men who shave their body hair?
Personally, they look like plucked chickens. But, now it seems to be a common practice. Does this practice invade personal grooming and based in what our media says what is sexy? Or am I out of touch? Now, some men are naturally hairless, and that's fine, but that's not what I'm addressing.

Answer:
I don't like lots of hair...I don't wanna be able to run my fingers through it...but at the same time I also don't really like shaved...Trimmed is for me.... Guess i'm kinda like goldie locks.......too much, too little , jst right.....hope the bears don't come home... but seriously I think it's sexy to see the male form with body hair trimmed and shaped a bit... Peace and Love

Question : Where to find a small trimming grooming tool for small dogs?
I bought the normal size trimmer for my 8 pound dog and it works great on her body but I need a smaller trimmer for her legs. The video that teaches you how to groom showed a smaller pair of clippers to do the dogs legs and paws. I can't find a smaller trimmer at Petco or Pet Stuff. Any suggestion on where to look?

Answer:
Here's a website with a few trimmers, I have the "Lola" (near the bottom): http://www.ryanspet.com/ryanspet/category.asp?categoryCode=111& When I groom smaller dogs, I will use the clippers on the body and then sweep them gently over the tops of the legs. Then I comb/brush the legs and use shears to just trim the hair to just 'neaten' it up. Usually shaving the legs will make the legs look super skinny when compared to the body, if you just trim them it balances the look out. Good luck :)

Question : Are men self conscious about their body hair?
I know women are and that's why we're constantly trimming, plucking, waxing, shaving, etc and etc. Honestly, I don't think guys have to worry about anything but facial hair because it is quite noticeable and expected by society to maintain groomed. What are your thoughts?
