Burns my underarms every time, takes forever to shave legs
I got this because the rotary razors have always seemed to me like they'd deliver a smoother shave (being multi-directional). However, after 2-3 months of using it, I've decided it's pretty much useless for me. The shave is not any smoother than a normal electric shaver. Also, I've never had razor burn from any razor before, but this one gives me nasty burns on my armpits every time I use it there.
The real death knell for this shaver for me is that it takes many passes of it to shave my legs completely. My hair is fine, thin, and light colored, so I don't have to shave often, but when I do, I want it to go efficiently. The only pleasant part is that it feels a bit like a massager on my legs.
Overall, I can't recommend this razor. It's possible that it just does better on a different hair type than mine, but if you have fine/soft leg hair, skip this razor.

The search continues
I have VERY sensitive skin and blade shaving is near impossible. So I'm always on the lookout for a gentle electric. This one is comfortable to use and very quiet but unfortunately only shaves about as close as 1-day-old stubble (after a blade). My WDF-3000 does better than that but I wanted to try something new since it can be irritating to my skin, also it's so loud the whole house knows you're shaving. So I wouldn't recommend this one especially if you're used to using a blade.

it's just ok
I bought this because of the Remington name and the price. It is good for around the legs, but it leaves a rash when doing other areas and does not do underarms.

WONDERFUL SHAVER!!!
This is a great product. I love it and use it all the time. Often when I use to shave with a regular razor, my legs itched, but they don't at all with this shaver!

Remington MS2-370 does a good job
This electric razor does a good job. It isn't as close as a regular razor, but it doesn't irritate my face. I like that this razor allows me to shave while it is plugged in. My previous razor was a twin blade Remington. I bought another because they make a durable razor that does a good job.

Average good razor
I don't think that the electric shaver that shaves as close as a blade has been invented yet. There is no such thing. I have owned several electric razors of different brand names like Norelco, Braun, Panasonic and Remington. In this department I definitely think Remington is the best. I use my electric razor as a secondary shaver, usually in the evening. In the morning I shave with a blade. The MS2-370 provides a closer shave than the older models (two or three) that I have owned. It also gives a smooth shave that won't irritate your skin, if you don't push too hard against your face, that is. This could happen when using it cordless, in the case that the battery charge is getting weak, and you push harder in order to get a closer shave. I prefer to use it with the cord, because it will run faster than without it. When unplugged, it will run fast only for the first couple of minutes, after that it will loose strength. Be sure to clean the blades every now and then to ensure a better performance. The big business for the manufacturers of this type of shaver is in the replacement screens which will eventually break forcing you to buy new ones. And the cost for these is about half of what the razor costs. They usually last around three months, with normal use. I use my shaver once or twice a day. I have owned the MS2-370 for about two months now, and the screens have not cracked yet. But they will. In this model they are narrow and sleek, different than the older models which have wider screens. I am hoping that maybe they will last longer for that reason. We'll see. As another reviewer stated, the plastic cap does not stay on. That is annoying. But the main flaw in the MS2-370 (and all of the models that have this design), which is the reason I give it 3 stars, is the awful positioning of the Trimmer switch. It is placed exactly in the spot where you want to put your thumb when holding the shaver. So, even if you are aware of it, you can't help pressing it while shaving sometimes, causing the trimmer head to pop up, which is very annoying and gives you a scare when it happens. I prefer the trimmer that sticks out and tucks in that comes in the older models. By far. Overall, the razor has a sleek, modern design. And it shaves OK.

After receiving this product I found the battery didn't stay long. I returned this product to the merchant and received full refund.
Happy to receive quick and full refund.

OK for the price
This product is just OK for the price. The quality is not as good as my old one that I bought many years ago. The clear plastic cap does not work (falls off) all the time. I then just leave it off.

I bought this looking for a cheap alternative to razors. I couldnt be happier right now. It gets nice and close, lasts for a long time, and feels good in your hands.

Not bad for a cheaply priced shaver....
I bought this Remington DA-307 Shaver to replace a Wahl Shaver (Bump-Free) that I had just returned to the company because it shaved too close. I have always been a Remington man, but when they discontinued the Ultra Smooth ES-1000 Shaver in 2007 (I have one that was purchased in 2003, and it still works except for the shaving head coming off when used), I eventually bought the Wahl, and later, this Remington model. It is not bad in terms of the shave that it provides, but to best utilize it, you may have to use both the shaver and the small trimmer in the back of the shaver to get the close shave that you want. Just be careful to not scrape your skin with the trimmer...go lightly over your face. The shaver doesn't cut short curly hair very well, so this is when the trimmer has to be used besides shaping mustaches, sideburns, and thick beards. One notable setback is the regular charging of the battery before you shave, based on the instructions that came with the shaver (In fact, Remington told me to charge initially for 24 hours every six months and 16 hours in between when I called their toll-free number). I was hoping to pick up the shaver, turn it on, and shave without always charging beforehand. With the Ultra-Smooth and the Wahl Bump-Free, I would get, at least, three shaves between charges. This shaver seems to give me two shaves per charge, probably because I go over the same areas repeatedly. Also, it provides 40 minutes of shaving, so it's important to time yourself when using this shaver. I have ingrown hairs that grow in different directions, so by washing my face with warm water and drying it, using the beard lifter comb that came with the Ultra-Smooth, and putting on the Face Shaver Talcum Powder prior to shaving, it helps the shaver glide over the beard easily. Afterwards, I spray with the Shaver Saver Spray to lubricate the cutters and microscreen to keep things running smootly. While I am still experimenting, I hope to master this shaver soon. In fact, knowing Remington's reputation, I think it's a possibility. In fact, for daily shavers, maybe you can reduce the charge time to 3-5 hours instead of the full 16 to cut corners, even if you charge overnight to make the best of this $29.99 shaver.

Not bad at all
First let me say that I am one of those people who say "no way an electric razor shaves as close as a blade"! And although this razor does not change my stance I must say it is by far the closest shave I have experienced outside of a blade. I use it for quick shaves or maybe at the end of the day when I don't want my stubbles to sandpaper my ladies face. Great electric razor and if I had to give up my blade it would be for this razor. Yes I have used many other popular electric brands. I won't knock them but this one is the best I have found.

Remington DA-307
I had been looking for the same style razor I previously used for 20+ years (i.e. a DA-107) which is the same body sytle as the DA-307, just not rechargable. The plastic head piece that holds the screen had broke. The charges on the DA-307 would only last about 4 or 5 days. After ~2 weeks using the DA-307 and losing a charge in the middle of a shave, I could'nt take it any longer. I swapped the new head, screen, and blade onto my DA-107 and presto - back in business. I never really wanted to get a rechargable in the first place. Other than that, I really like the Remingtons.

The Vector hair removal system has been designed to permanently remove hair from unwanted areas. It is the only hair removal system on the market that has the same output as professional electrolysis machines. This machine will save you hundreds of dollar

Great product gets the job done !!!! Love it !!!!
I received this product and I didn't use it right away,I was a little intimidated by it initially with out even opening the box. The directions are clear and consise.I used the product and I absolutely love it . I have paid a lot of money in the past to have electrolysis on my face and to be able to do it myself is liberating. The product is easy to use and once I'm done with my face and neck it is as smooth as a baby's bottom. I highly recommend this product. It is worth every penny.

returned-burned skin
I tried this product after reading the reviews. I worried about the ones that said that the skin burned. I have had the same problem! I am a reasonably intelligent person, rule/direction follower and good with technology, but there was just no way around it. there is no way to get the conducting gel ONLY on the hair, hold it close to the root and wait until it comes out gently without at some point touching your skin. It has been aver 3 months and i still have scars, and will likely need to try a lightening cream to get it to go away completely. Thankfully I did not tryb anything on my face first! Save your time and skin and save electrolysis for the professionals....some things are worth paying someone else to do!

Works
I purchased this sytem about 2 years ago and I have used it on various parts of my body and I have to say that it definitely works. The hair that was treated did not grow back and in fact hair does not grow back after just one treatment, even though the company recommends 2 - 3 treatments.
Although, I have to say that the Vector System is really not practical for large areas. For example it would take forever to remove all the hair on the legs since hair is being removed one hair at a time. The Vector is perfect if it is being used on facial areas or areas where only a patch of hair needs to removed. On these areas the hair can be removed quickly and you never have to deal with the hassle of tweezing anymore.
So for this reason I am going to give this product 4 stars since I can say I got my money's worth.
Also, the company offers terrific customer service with very fast reply to emails.

A Total Scam
Don't waste your money with this product. It is extremely difficult to use! Applying the gel to the hair only and not having it touch the surrounding skin is impossible. And those treated hairs just grow back. Does not work!
Rating :
A waste of money
For the cost of this product, it is a total waste of money. In addition to being very poorly made (several parts of mine broke within days of receiving it), it has made very litte difference on me in terms of hair removal and I've been using it for 3 solid years. (I made the mistake of buying second one a year after the first one thinking I received a lemon the first time around, but the second one was just as poorly made and ineffective.) While their customer service reps were wonderful (I had to replace a total of 4 parts over the past 3 years) the system itself should be taken off the market.

Questions & Answers
Question : At what age should you start shaving your pubic hair?
At what age should you start shaving your pubic hair?
Answer:
Most people never do. It is a hassle with no good effect. I would say just wax your bikini line. Don't shave it because it's easy to get nicks. Don't wax the pubic area only, because it can damage skin.
If you do shave it, try using only soap you normally use, because most shaving creams and conditioners leave irritating rashes!

Question : How to shave my knees and underarms? Any good shaving tips?
I am a girl, and i have been shaving my underarms for like 2 years, and even when i shave, my underarms still look dark. its like you can see the hair under the stin before it comes up again, do you know what i mean? and how to you solve this? i have dark hair, so blondes (luckily) dont really have this problem. ???
Ok question #2 is how do i shave my knees? i always think i get them really good in the morning but then i realize after that i missed a bunch. how do you shave your knees? is there anyway you do to keep them smooth ? do you shave your knees when your legs are straight or when they are bent and the skin is pulled taunt?
please help! thank you! ♥
also do you have any other shaving tips for girls?
Answer:
I use a venus breeze and i love it!!
oky let your underarm hair grow for about two days after that shave up and down and side to side and criss cross.your hair under your arms grows in different direstions and i had the same problem you do until i tried this. you might want to use venus or try using a guys razor that has four blades. and buy shaving cream that stands the hair up so you get a closer shave.and for your knees try nair or hair removal lotion.
make sure to cover your entire knee in the lotion and bend it to make the skin tight.
hope this helps

Question : What can I do with sensitive skin and shaving?
I have always had very sensitive skin. When I shave I get tiny little bumps on my legs - mainly my thighs. It's really embarrassing! Are there any alternatives besides waxing? I use shaving gel, even the kind for sensitive legs, but it doesn't seem to help.
Answer:
Shaving gel is a gimmic. I don't have sensitive skin, but it's very dry and I've found even the best shaving cream for dry, sensitive skin does nothing but dry my skin out even more.
Exfoliate your skin first to get rid of any bumps from dry, dead skin building up. This also helps with ingrown hairs...My husband doesn't shave his legs, never has, but I notice his thighs have a lot of ingrown hairs and exfoliating helps get rid of them.
Use a thick, moisturizing conditioner instead of shaving cream. It's thick enough to protect your legs plus it moisturizes as well. And make sure you have a new razor too...the newer the razor, the fewer the knicks and cuts.
You don't want the water to be too hot. This can dry your skin out, and even if it's sensitive...this can make it more sensitive. It's also better to shave after the skin has been soaking for a while. So if you have a bathtub...just lay in there and relax in the warm-mildly hot water for 10 or 15 minutes, then shave.

Question : at what age do girls start shaving their underarms?
My daughter is 10 and already a 38B with hairy armpits. When should I teach her about shaving? She already got her first period.
Answer:
well when i got my first period in 4th grade and was a 34b by then.. my mom was like here's a razor it's time to start shaving your armpits and legs.
so, i'd say start busting out a razor and teaching her
how to take care of herself along with some deodorant.
my neice had her first period and her mom got her some razors and pads and deodorant and taught her everything she needs to know right then and there.

Answer:
shave your genitals as well....and soon you wont notice the itching in your LEGS...

Question : What is a good non aerosol shaving cream for dry, sensitive skin that is prone to shaving irritation?
My all-time favorite shaving product, Edge Active Care Deep Hydrating Shave Cream, has been discontinued. I am desperate to find a worthy replacement that will minimize bumps and irritation. I also need something that will not dry my skin out. No aerosol cans, please. Reasonable price, under $10, is a plus.
Answer:
try aveeno products. http://www.aveeno.com/segmentAction.do?segid=1006&catid=1001
They are great products and the bottoms of their bottles do not leave rust rings on your tub.

Question : Shaving>??
Ok so,
When i shave "down there" how can i take care of it so it looks nice. There are like red bumps and stuff, it just doesnt look good. How do u make it look good?

Oh I know this will sound crazy but my husband started using my facial foam cleanser to shave and he swears by it leaving a closer softer shave, so I started using it on my legs and private parts and OH YEAH it works. The product is Papaya Enzyme Foam Cleanser by Bee Luscious Cosmetics ...Good Luck it really does work

Im sure that any shaving cream you choose will be acceptable and work just as well as any other.

Question : What is the ideal way of shaving arms and legs?
I use a razor to shave my arms and legs. I use the specially formulated shaving foam for women, I wet the area well and always change the blades on a regular basis. But whatever I do, my skin does not feel smooth and I always get razor burn. So I must be doing something wrong. Please help.
Answer:
Your skin is probably just getting dry because you are shaving so much.. it would help to mosturize your legs & arms as soon as you shaved them... and if you shave them everyday.. if possible - give them a break for a couple days.. you will notice a change.. & then the shave will become even smoother & you'll have nice skin... something I do, which REALLY helps.. is once you're out of the shower, & done shaving.. use baby oil gel.. and rub some on your arms and legs & and then rub your legs & arms w/a towel.. and then apply your regular lotion.. & you should see a big improvement.. I hope I helped.. because I had the same problem..
