Editorial Review :

Now the ACRA Permanent Hair Removal Device delivers professional salon electrolysis at the unheard-of price of under $100. Before this system, only battery-operated toys were available at such a low price: Today anyone can afford true AC-powered, galvanic-current, permanent electrolysis right at home. For the price of one or two salon treatments, get your own system to use in the privacy of your own home on your own schedule: Other low-cost devices, often advertised through infomercials, relied on insufficient battery power and ineffective radio frequencies. You might as well have just plucked the hairs, since they grew right back: Driven by AC power, however, the new ACRA Permanent Hair Removal Device dissolves hair follicles permanently by producing sodium hydroxide in the hair shaft, just like professional salon systems costing hundreds more. Remove even coarse hairs one at a time with the galvanic tweezers included. Plus, the grounding wrist strap and beeping alarm mean setup couldnt be more convenient.

Questions & Answers
Question : Where is the cheapest place to get mens shavers?
I don't really have time to order on the internet because I need it for Father's Day. I'm looking to spend around $100.

Maybe try BigLots if there is any near where you live, they have some shavers for pretty cheap.. also JC Pennys.

Question : Which is better for razor bumps (ingrown hairs) on the neck, electric shavers or blades?
Any suggestions? I get razor bumps around my neck area, currently using a blade (mach 3), will changing to an electric razor cause more problems or help?

Answer:
don't try to shave over ingrown hairs. You need to put warm compress on the skin and then exfoliate to remove the skin covering the hair if it's not to deep. Use a loofah and maybe a mild facial scrub or something. Then always make sure your skin is soft before shaving and use a good shave gel. & a good rasor. and use an after shave.

Question : how come electric shavers are operated dry?
how does it remove everything without much lubrication? and how much hair can it take inside. can someone explain?

Answer:
it takes "nothing inside", all the clippings fall outside. it runs dry because imagine the mess inside of it if it didn't. This way you just rinse off the clippings and you are done.

Question : How often must you change the blades on electric shavers?
I am thinking about buying a foil type self cleaning shaver(not to get confused with the rotary style 3 head shavers)and i know that you can buy new blades for it. how ofted do you need to change them?

Answer:
To my knowledge the foil type shavers are travel shavers... I have used only the rotary kinds... In rotary kinds the blade last for 1-2 years & after that's it better to buy a new shaver cause the blades are almost as expense as the shaver...

Question : can you bring electric shavers on the airplane (carry on)?
can you bring electric shavers on the airplane (carry on)?

Answer:
You shoul ask the peep that runs the airport.

Question : I have really bad shavers bumps, how can I get rid of them?
I use a double blade manual razor. I use creamy body wash and soap to shave. When I am done, there are red bumps starting from my knees to my ankles. Some are red and bumpy and some are like little black dots. How can I cure them?

Answer:
Don't press too hard and use shave gel! Also, use some aloe vera gel after you shave. It soothes the bumps, and prevents them.

Question : What is the difference between rotary head and flex for Shavers?
My husband has always used a Norleco rotating head shaver. He wants a new one for Christmas. The reviews have just been okay. In doing a little research, the Braun foil shavers received much favorable reviews. Is it hard to get used to a new shaver, especially a different type? And what makes the shave different?

Question : What are those plastic cases that have the shavers in them for?
I was at Vons today and I have seen this in a bunch of grocery stores before. Is there a point to them? sorry that this is the topic this goes in, i couldnt find anything else

Answer:
it's to prevent people under 18 from buying them (especially since the whole teen cutting thing took off). and it's also to prevent people from shop lifting them.

Question : Does anyone have any advice regarding mens electric shavers?
I've been using a philips 3 head shaver for years now and I'm quite used to using them. Problem is, they never get the hairs under my neck very well and I've been doing a bit of investigation to see whether or not the foil type shavers are better. Can anyone comment?

Answer:
The electric shavers donot give total clean and smooth shave. It works where the skin is relatively tight. For clean shave only blades are best.Electric shavers are best during travel,to avoid soap and water.I use Phlishave(Philips) during travel only.
