Great Shave!

Hey it's a razor what can I say.. It works! I get a great shave and the self cleaning feature is great. Battery life is excellent.

A HAPPY CUSTOMER

I have just today started using my third Braun 3612. When the blade gets dull, I simply buy a new razor. The blade last me with my beard type about 2 years. I love how fast the razor charges up (less than 2 hours) and a charge last more than a week. I feel bad about not replacing the blade but I can buy a new razor for the price of the blade and foil. My two older razors still work fine; they just have dull blades. The trimmer works well on the back of my neck between hair cuts. I will continue to buy this razor until they stop making it.

Review of Braun Electric Shaver - Model # 3612

I ordered this shaver before departing for a six week vacation in England. It was promptly delivered in time to be fully charged and tried out before departure.

This is a neat razor - well packaged, compact and suitable for travel. I had no difficulty recharging with the UK voltage - I had a plug-adapter and did not require a converter. A charge lasts about a week, shaving twice a day.

However, this razor does not deliver a close shave. I have a light beard and could never obtain as close a shave as my old Norelco travel shaver provides. Of course, it is nowhere near the closeness of a blade shaver. I would not recommend this razor for an extended journey. It might be just OK for a week-end trip.

Good Razor, Good Luck With Replacing Blades

Works reliably and well at first, but quickly needs replacement foil and blades. You can find them online but they cost almost as much as a complete new razor. What's the point of buying a $29 electric razor when the replacement blades cost $25, that is IF you can find them. I'm trying the cheap $10 razors from my local drugstore... even if they fail 2 and a half times as quickly, I'm still no worse off.

Foil and cutter block break chronically

The warranty on this razor does NOT cover the cutter block. In my experience. The cutter block breaks after about 2 weeks and costs almost as much as the razor. Braun does NOT stand behind this problem and offered to send me 1 (and one only, they stressed) cutter block.

I cannot recommend buying this razor to anyone.
