Panasonic cut quality

Panasonic changed the cutter design to detriment. It looks like they changed it to reduce raw material content, and the new design cuts horrible compared to the old design. I seriously consider getting rid of this razor and changing brands because of this.

Best shaver ever!!!

I have used Panasonic shavers for over 15 years and this is by far the best model I have ever used. Exceptionally smooth and close shave when used wet, which is the only way I have used it. And I like the fact it does not come with the cleaning system/charger stand which I feel is unnecessary.

terrific product

i've always shaved with electric shavers and this is the best one I have ever owned. It does a great job on both the soft hairs on the neck as well as the more bristle-like hairs on the chin.
Buy it!

Simply Superb

I stumbled upon the Panasonic range of shavers a few years ago after trying every other manufacturer on the market and being let down not to mention wasting a lot of cash!

I was really impressed by the quality my previous Panasonic model and haven't considered another brand since. When the time came to look at (reluctantly# renewing my old Panasonic I decided to plump for the Arc IV Nano and was simply blown away by the improvement even over my previous model.

I have particularly tough growth yet sensitive skin bu this device gives a wet shave performance (when dry) and without the irritation. My girlfriend was also shocked by the difference this new device made. Surely an investment well worth the investment in that case! :-)

Buy this shaver - you will not be disappointed!

Blade-close, less irritation

I've had this for about a month now and I absolutely love it. It is admittedly my first foray into the world of electric shavers, but I've tried all the latest razor fads (I dont care what anyone says, 5 blades feels the same as 3). I have sensitive skin and a pretty thick beard, and all of them gave me horrible irritation, especially on the neck. I would get unsightly, painful, itchy rashes on my neck from razor burn. I actually got into the habit of using aftershave every day, sometimes twice a day, for about 3 or 4 days after shaving. I eventually gave up and grew a beard.

Let me start off with a disclaimer. If you like to go 4 or 5 days without shaving and let your stubble get pretty long, this product is not for you. It has a lot of trouble with long hair. You'll wind up missing spots and have to go over several times, which will cause as much irritation as using a blade.

This shaver gets as close as any blade I've ever used with very little irritation. It's even gentle enough to use twice a day, for guys like me who get that 5 'o clock shadow. It takes a couple of uses to get accustomed to if it's your first electric. I recommend using it in the shower if you dont like the feeling of dry shaving. You can use shaving cream as well, but I found that to be very messy and more time consuming than an electric should be. It's very easy to clean (the head pops right off) and has a really nice display telling you how long your shave took and how much battery life is left.

I strongly recommend this shaver to anyone who has struggled with irritation from blades or inferior electrics. This is top shelf!

Good shaver but expensive

The shaver is nice but was $200. I guess I just have bad thick ingrown hairs. The shaver is good but I think a shaver for 100 or less would of done just as well. I did get the shaver in perfect condition from the company and was very fast at shiping it. Only issue was that Amazon sent the wrong replacement foils/cutters with it. I called them and they said it was the right ones but anyone looking at it could see it was made for another razer. They sent me MODEL WES9006PC but I needed WES9021PC. I called Panasonic to get that model#. But the shaver is a great shaver if you have more thin hairs on your face :)

Questions & Answers
Question : Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?
I'm 17 My facial hair started growing a while ago but it does not grow thick and it grows in patches. I want that stubble look but not in patches Will shaving more help the hair grow thicker?

Answer:
Of course not. Shaving cuts off dead hair tissue, it grows from the bottom. Shaving doesn't do anything magical to your hair, any more than just rubbing or massaging your hand across the beard area. Many men have patchy beards, so they just can't have the "stubble" look. It may grow in eventually, but if you have to shave some whiskers daily and there are bare patches, most likely they will stay bare.

Question : What razor to use when shaving male pubic hair?
What razor should I use when shaving pubic hair? I read online that female razors is the best way to go, and to not use an electric razor. The only problem is that I do not own a female razor, and I would feel pretty weird if I went up to a local store and purchased a female razor. Any advice?

Answer:
you can use anything

Question : How do you get rid of excessive itching after shaving your legs?
I have tried using soap, shaving cream, and the wipe off cream but I still get a very itchy sensation after I shave.

Answer:
shave your genitals as well....and soon you wont notice the itching in your LEGS...

Question : What is the longest you have gone without shaving your legs?
Longest time you have gone without shaving your legs, and what made you go back to shaving? How often do you shave? Do you find it a pain? If no one else cared would you continue to shave?

Answer:
Usually never more than a week, is how long I go without shaving. I hate the feeling on having hair on my legs, and I play volleyball year-round, so I'm always wearing spandex shorts. I shave in the winter, once or twice a week. In the summer...two or three times a week. Yes it is a pain. I would still continue to shave if no one else cared, but only like once every week or two. I hate the feeling of hair on my legs.

Question : What is the better product to use when shaving for a guy to eliminate ingrown hairs?
I keep getting ingrown hairs from shaving . I use been a gel for a mach 3 razor , but then I changed to a shaving creme. What do you think is better for you to get stop the ingrown hairs?

Answer:
My husband has this same problem and he uses a cream that is Rx only. The tube is Dark yellow and brown and on it it says Clioquinol 3% with Hydrocortisone 1% cream. I believe its by Qualitest. This cream works very well for him.

Question : Does shaving a mustache really make it grow faster?
I'm thinking about shaving it to make it grow faster, but I don't know if that will work. I'm a teen, and don't have much of a mustache and I don't want to lose what little I have. Will shaving it actually make it grow faster? And if so, how long will it take to grow?

Answer:
shavin it doesnt make it grow faster just darker and thicker. since it darker and thicker u notice it faster making it seem like it is growing faster

Question : What causes an electric shaver to pull hairs out instead of shaving the hairs?
I have a Norelco ladies shaver that started pulling hairs out instead of shaving the hairs like it's supposed to. The shaver is clean and the battery charge is perfect. The shaving foil doesn't look worn. What may cause a shaver to start pulling hairs out? Does it have anything to do with the shaving foil or the cutter block or something else? I'd hate to buy a new shaving foil and cutter block only to find out that the shaver is still pulling hairs...then I've lost money on replacement parts. Thanks for any help. My shaver is not new, and so it makes sense that the blades are not as sharp as they once were. Sometimes the shaver actually shaves hair, and sometimes it pulls hair.

Answer:
Dull blades will pull hair, increases risk of ingrown hairs, and just don't do the job.

Question : Does shaving facial hair allow hair to grow where it hasnt before?
I know shaving doesnt speed up the growing process. I recently shaved and i noticed my beard was a bit thicker and darker, there are actually some areas on my face that hair is growing where it hasnt grown before. I want to have a full beard chinstrap, shoul i shave the areas where there isnt hair to allow the hairless areas to grow?

Answer:
Shaving doesn't make hair grow. It just started growing there and you didn't notice because you were shaving that area.

Question : How to shave in flight? Is shaving kit (razors, blades etc) allowed in international flights?
I need to shave my beard everyday since many of them turned gray. However while in international flight(which takes around 25 hours) how would I shave? Are blades, razors, shaving cream allowed in international flights? If not then how would one shave in flight?

Answer:
Safety razors and less than 3 oz. cans of shaving foam are allowed and many airlines offer them in business and 1st class. Just go in the bathroom and shave, I usually bring along an electric razor on long flights, it's a lot easier than foam and razors in a cramped airplane bathroom. Electric and safety razors are not prohibited and are perfectly fine to bring onto an airplane, at least in the US and Asia where I fly to and from frequently. http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/index.shtm
