Panasonic Shaver foil and heads

on't get these.
I have had this shaver for 4 years and had not replaced the shaver heads and foil for 2 years. The quality of the replacements was terrible. I ended up going back to the old shaver heads and foil because the new ones did not cut as close.
I am going to just replace the whole shaver now.

Works Great in the US and Australia

I recently purchased these clippers for a trip to Australia.

I already own a Wahl clipper set; however, the clippers in that set were not dual-voltage. The Conair clippers work great, I've tried them in both San Francisco, and Perth (Australia). Remember, you'll need a plug converter to use these overseas, also, it has to support polarized plugs (US plugs where one prong is bigger).

A couple of things the description didn't mention: The set also comes with a big plastic sheet (which I didn't use), and the other end of the brush can be used to adjust the voltage and the power knob. Also, the zipper for my bag was white.

The attachments it comes with are #1,2,3&4 (1/8th to 1/2 inch). So if you need longer ones, you'll have to find them somewhere else (I cannibalized my Wahl set, which fit perfectly).

One other note: If the clippers are clacking loudly, you need to adjust the power down via the unmarked black screw above the on switch. See the instruction manual for how to do it. I had to adjust the power down when I used them in Perth.

I like my Wahl a lot better

The ONLY reason I bought this clipper set is that I am living in eastern Europe for the next 2-3 years, and this is the only dual voltage set I could find. I bought my Wahl set of clippers over 10 years ago and they still work great, just not on the 220v electricity where I am now living.

This Conair set came with dull scissors (my 10 year old, never sharpened scissors that came with my Wahl set are sharper) and a cape that is as thin as a garbage sack (I'm using "shampoo" capes that I bought at a beauty supply shop instead). The guide combs seem more flimsy than the one's in my Wahl set. Also with out guide combs and the adjuster in the shortest cut position, there is still hair visible after clipping with the Conair, but not with the Wahl.

The Conair has a 5 position blade adjuster, where as the Wahl adjuster doesn't have stops so it can be in an infinite number of positions. A couple of years ago I dropped the Wahl and threw the blades out of alignment, with the stoppless blade adjuster I could set it just right to bring the blades back into alignment.

Bottom line unless you need dual voltage like I do, buy a Wahl.
