Questions & Answers
Question : Are there any good fabric shavers out there?
Needed for clothes that have those little pills.

Answer:
I own three of them. Remington makes the best one but it is difficult to find. It is a compact model and very good for cuffs and collars. I also have one by Evercare which doesn't seem to have the power on nubby fabrics and knits that the Remington had. And, I have a larger model by CedarFresh that is great for doing large sweaters because it has a larger cutting surface. I originally purchased the Remington at a fabric store that has since gone out of business. I just bought the Evercare at WalMart and the CedarFresh came from Long's Drug store. I do NOT recommend the no name brand $3.00 one that Big Lots is selling. I bought one and returned it. It is very small, the container that the lint is collected in is tiny and needs to be emptied often and the thing practically falls apart in your hand while you are using it.

Question : I have really bad shavers bumps, how can I get rid of them?
I use a double blade manual razor. I use creamy body wash and soap to shave. When I am done, there are red bumps starting from my knees to my ankles. Some are red and bumpy and some are like little black dots. How can I cure them?

Answer:
Don't press too hard and use shave gel! Also, use some aloe vera gel after you shave. It soothes the bumps, and prevents them.

Question : how come electric shavers are operated dry?
how does it remove everything without much lubrication? and how much hair can it take inside. can someone explain?

Answer:
it takes "nothing inside", all the clippings fall outside. it runs dry because imagine the mess inside of it if it didn't. This way you just rinse off the clippings and you are done.

Question : What removes leg hair best razors, hair removing lotions, or electric shavers. What do u use?
I currently use forever free electric shaver and it sucks

Answer:
VEET! is the best! you put it on your legs, then wait 4 minutes and then wash it off in the shower! =] it doesn't like leave any allergic reaction bumps on your legs like Nair. Its about 5 or 6 dollars in target, walmart, walgreens etc

Question : Is there a specific reason why women cannot use men's electric shavers on their legs?
I have a severe allergy to various ingredients in rubber, which is found on virtually all women's razor heads. It causes my legs to itch incessantly for a couple weeks after shaving. I have tried waxing, but my hair seems too fine for it to be effective. I bought a female electric razor and was disappointed with its level of "closeness." I have seen so many commercials for men's electric shavers that claim to achieve an extremely close shave. My question has many parts... -Is there a particular men's electric shaver that works really well? -Does anyone know a reason why one could NOT use this on their legs? -Finally, if this endeavor seems fruitless, does anyone have a suggestion for alternative hair removal? (Other than laser, which I cannot afford).

Question : Do you think if Ernie Shavers had more stamina he would have beaten most anybody?
Guy just died in the 2nd half of the fight against Ali.

Answer:
Plus if he had a stronger chin and better defense he would had been champion. He had power but no stamina, defense and a weak chin. Some reports had stated his training was spotty at times. His second fight with Larry Holmes he got a beaten plus busted up. His face was target practice from start to finish. It was a good fight.

Question : Are electric shavers up to the task of shaving my ENTIRE head?
I recently shaved my head for a charity fund-raising even. People's startled reactions were amusing enough to persuade me to keep the "Chrome-Dome" look, for a while at least. Everything I read about electric shavers relates to beard hair; would an electric do a good enough job or is the best I can hope for that sand-papery, second day after a good shave feel?

Answer:
head hair is not as coarse as beard hair so an electric razor will not work nearly as well. It just is not designed to handle head hair that doesn't stand up as well. And as a previous post stated, it can't cut as close as a blade shave. If you want to keep the smooth look, lather up and use a regular blade.

Question : What type of rechargeable electric shavers are the best?
I want to buy an electric razor for a Christmas gift. What type is the best, the ones with the straight heads, or the ones with the rotating round heads? I have no idea

Answer:
You may want to look at various types of shavers available in the market . For more information on shavers , do visit 88db website

Question : Are there any health hazards in using Electric shavers?
I want to use electric shavers, wanted to know weather it is good for the skin.

Answer:
I've used an electric shaver for over 30 years and suffered no ill effects at all. Use a good pre-shave lotion before and a good after-shave lotion.

Question : What is allowed in carry-on luggage as far as shampoos, shavers, etc?
What is allowed in carry-on luggage as far as shampoos, shavers, etc?

Answer:
you are allowed to bring shaving razors (disposable, ect.) now. All of the liquids that you are suppose to put in the quart bag need to included foods that are gels, peanut butter, drinks, ect. It it doesn't fit, they will throw it away. If you are looking for toiletries that pass TSA standards, here is a site I use. Its great and really affordable. www.ittybittytravelsupply.com
