Works like the originals

The replacements blades work basically as well as the original blades. I have no idea if their service life will be as long, but time will tell. The only complaint I have with them is, like so many others, the price. The cost for the replacement blades and foil was over half of what I paid for the entire razor new. To me this is ridiculous. However, since you need the new blades, Amazon it the cheapest place I found to buy them.

A bit pricey, but will make your shaver as good as new

It's a bit expensive at $40, but a great way to make that shaver just like new! But I'm probably gonna end up getting a new razor on the next go around just to catch one of those Amazon deals on bulk buys for a shaver and its accessories. Those Vortex cleaning cartridges are starting to add up at retail price.

Amazon still has the best price w/ free shipping all around.

I have a heavy beard and after 8 months, I need to replace the blades and outer foil. The replacement was as advertised and arrived in a timely manner. I agree with other reviewers that the replacements are expensive, but unfortunately in my case, they are necessary. For lighter beards, I would recommend going longer than 6 or 8 months before replacing blades and foil (despite what the manufacturer recommends).

Great value for the money

I've used many, many electric razors over the years, and like my relatively inexpensive (no such thing in the electric razor world) Braun. These heads have always lasted a year or more, and I've had 4 or 5 so far (do the math and you'll see the quality of the razor itself). And I'm about to buy one more set before I expect to finally retire and replace my shaver next year.

My old Braun shaver works just like new again.... If your Braun is dull and lost its smooth shave... And if your battery is still holding a charge...Don't go out and buy a new Braun just yet....buy this pack and you will be a happy camper for sure.

Braun 5885 Contour Shaver

I purchased this shaver to replace an older Braun shaver that I had for over 10 years. This 5885 is much faster, the foil seems to collect hairs much better and the charge lasts for several weeks. The only complaint is that the trimmer is awkward to use.

The shaver itself is, of course fantastic (I have a 6550). This new foil head is redesigned for a better and more user friendly cut than the original factory head that came with the unit. It snapped right on and was ready to go.

What a positive difference a new set of shaving heads make!!! This is the second time that I get a new set of shaving heads, but the first time that I ordered them through the web. The product worked as expected. No need to use the regular shaver to get a real nice and close shaving experience.

Have had a Norelco Advantage electric shaver for about 10-12 years. No one carries the replacement heads for it. Went to Norelco web site and they had them on a link to Amazon and in about 5-6 days I had them and saved about $4.00 over any store that did have them.

Fair price - Fast shipping

The product was recived in fine fashion. The item was the same thing I would have paid quite a bit more for at some other place. The only thing different was one of the blades was out of its original posiion in the package. No problem though.

Inner Blades Do Not Fit Model ES8092

This is the first time I've tried replacing the inner blades on my Panasonic ES8092. These replacement blades do not fit securely on the shaver like the original blades did. They're always crooked and can't stay straight. When you turn on the shaver, you can hear the blades improperly hitting the outer foil. Either mine were defective, or they're just not compatible with model ES8092. The outer foil was fine.

Excellent

The comb and shaving blades do the job they were manufactured to do. They give me a close shave without irritation. I have had this shaver for a few years and this is third time I've replaced these items. This is the best electric shaver I have owned. It's more expensive than many others but, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for".

Shaver is like new

I didn't notice it at first, but after 2 years my face was becoming tender from using the Panasonic razor.
After replacing the 3 items in this package, the razor is like new. Shaves are closer than ever and with less irratation.
I also have a top of the line Braun electric with an automatic bath cleaner that needs to be refilled almost every month. The Panasonic with new blades does a better job; especially if you lather up with a bit of shaving cream.
Note: Unless the shaver is damaged, you can get the same results after the first year of use,by just replacing the inner blade as Panasonic recommends, once a year. They recommend that the outer foil be replaced every two years.

You'll need this every 6 months

if you have the shaver, you will need this every six months. Have a spare standing by as the screens on the shaver can fail without warning (chewing your face to bits).

Great cutters, not so good foils

The cutters are excellent, the foil is a different story.
These foils fit very nicely, however, they are a little different from the original foils that came with the shaver. They give you a little spring action so the foils can move up and down a little as you move the shaver along your contour. I guess this could be a nice feature that gives a closer shave, but for me it gave me a noisier shaver (if you press the foils down the noise is reduced to original levels). That is why I give it only 1 3 star.

Quick & Easy Blade Replacement

The replacement blades are VERY simple to install. Just pop out the old & pop in the new and PRESTO-CHANGO a new shaver! Be sure to run the shaver through the cleaner both before and after you replace the blades.

By the way, to keep from having to install replacement blades, NEVER take the top off and run the shaver over the sink to give it a quick clean......especially in a hotel room with no grating in the sink drain!!
