Question : Can you use shaving gel with electric shavers?

I am not trying to shave on dry skin cause that i think would cause irritation e.t.c is it possible to shave on wet skin with little bit of shaving cream to make it smooth?
Answer:
Depends on the shaver. Some are rated wet/dry, and they will be fine with gel

Question : how come electric shavers are operated dry?
how does it remove everything without much lubrication? and how much hair can it take inside. can someone explain?
Answer:
it takes "nothing inside", all the clippings fall outside.
it runs dry because imagine the mess inside of it if it didn't. This way you just rinse off the clippings and you are done.

Answer:
you are allowed to bring shaving razors (disposable, ect.) now. All of the liquids that you are suppose to put in the quart bag need to included foods that are gels, peanut butter, drinks, ect. It it doesn't fit, they will throw it away. If you are looking for toiletries that pass TSA standards, here is a site I use. Its great and really affordable.

Answer:
Most modern rechargable electric shavers use Ni-Cad batteries despite the recent advances in battery technologies I believe this is because they are the cheapest to produce. These batteries suffer from memory effects so the life of them depends on the users charging and discharging habits but it they are discharged properly every time before charging they can last for up to 1000 cycles. If you shave once a day and charge it every 2 or 3 days you can expect up to 3 or so years from these batteries but charge quality of this battery chemical is greatly degraded usually within a years use.

Can any one give the pros and cons of using Electric shavers? HOw effective and safe compared to conventional Gillette 2 or 3 blade shaving?

From a woman's point of view:
Pro - easy to use, no shave cream required, less knicks, safer, n
Con - does not last as long as razor and shave cream, not as close of a shave.

Question : Are electric shavers up to the task of shaving my ENTIRE head?
I recently shaved my head for a charity fund-raising even. People's startled reactions were amusing enough to persuade me to keep the "Chrome-Dome" look, for a while at least. Everything I read about electric shavers relates to beard hair; would an electric do a good enough job or is the best I can hope for that sand-papery, second day after a good shave feel?
Answer:
head hair is not as coarse as beard hair so an electric razor will not work nearly as well. It just is not designed to handle head hair that doesn't stand up as well. And as a previous post stated, it can't cut as close as a blade shave. If you want to keep the smooth look, lather up and use a regular blade.

Question : Why are replacement blades for shavers ei: Gillette Mach 3, etc so expensive?
I've checked-out the prices and no pharmacy or store has them for under $8.00 for 4, they are usually $9.97 or 16.97 for package of 4 or 8, which is ridiculous!
Answer:
I'm pretty sure that the more expensive shavers are supposed to last you longer and be nicer for your skin than the disposable ones.
2 dollars for each replacement razor doesn't sound so bad.
