Questions & Answers
Question : Is it dangerous to have a shaving cream fight on a hard surface?
It has been a tradition at my school for many years for the seniors to have a big shaving cream fight on the last day of school on our "senior patio" outside. This year the administration has decided to end this because it is not "safe" because most shaving cream is oil based and that could make us slip and hurt ourselves. How can we convince them this is not so dangerous or if you believe it is dangerous, what can we do to keep our shaving cream fight on this patio? Thank you for your help!

Answer:
F the administration, do it anyways. America is such a nation of bed-wetting, cover-my-a**-cause-of -fear-of-being-sued pansies that it makes me sick to live here. Our founding fathers would be ashamed. What's the worst they can do? Keep you from your graduation ceremony? At least you would have a fun memory of good times with your friends and keeping a tradition instead of some picture taking pompous parade because you folded and let yourself be bullied and intimidated into choosing safety over fun. Personally I'd try to get everyone to smuggle a can of shaving cream into the graduation ceremony and have the fight there. Much more of a statement and way cooler.

Question : How often do you shave your legs, and what shaving cream do you use?
i have been shaving mine about once a week, but i think i need to shave more often. what do you think? i use suave shaving cream (i think) but it says it has extracts of silk, and its really cool. also what razor do you use? i use the gillette daisy. my shaving cream comes in a green can and is actually green. i dont know the brand name cause i forgot.

Answer:
i shave about every 2 or 3 days. i use a really nice purple razor. i dont know what kind. and i use either body wash or conditioner not shaving cream. it works the same way.

Question : What shaving gel and aftershave gel or balm do you reccomend?
I use Gillette shaving gel and aftershave gel all the time but I want to try something else. I heard Nivea shaving gel and aftershave balm is good and I also heard L'Oréal Men's Expert aftershave is good too. What would you recommend? Thanks!

Answer:
Sainsbury's and Avon ! ! !

Question : How can I get shaving cream stains out of upholstery?
So during a crazy night, me and my buddies decided to get crazy with the shaving cream. Now my futon is a mess. How can I get the shaving cream stains out?

Answer:
Simply wipe off with a damp cloth. Keep rinsing the cloth until the stains are gone...

Question : How to shave in flight? Is shaving kit (razors, blades etc) allowed in international flights?
I need to shave my beard everyday since many of them turned gray. However while in international flight(which takes around 25 hours) how would I shave? Are blades, razors, shaving cream allowed in international flights? If not then how would one shave in flight?

Answer:
Safety razors and less than 3 oz. cans of shaving foam are allowed and many airlines offer them in business and 1st class. Just go in the bathroom and shave, I usually bring along an electric razor on long flights, it's a lot easier than foam and razors in a cramped airplane bathroom. Electric and safety razors are not prohibited and are perfectly fine to bring onto an airplane, at least in the US and Asia where I fly to and from frequently. http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/index.shtm

Question : What causes an electric shaver to pull hairs out instead of shaving the hairs?
I have a Norelco ladies shaver that started pulling hairs out instead of shaving the hairs like it's supposed to. The shaver is clean and the battery charge is perfect. The shaving foil doesn't look worn. What may cause a shaver to start pulling hairs out? Does it have anything to do with the shaving foil or the cutter block or something else? I'd hate to buy a new shaving foil and cutter block only to find out that the shaver is still pulling hairs...then I've lost money on replacement parts. Thanks for any help. My shaver is not new, and so it makes sense that the blades are not as sharp as they once were. Sometimes the shaver actually shaves hair, and sometimes it pulls hair.

Answer:
Dull blades will pull hair, increases risk of ingrown hairs, and just don't do the job.

Question : How do I prevent shaving rash and ingrown hairs?
I wet shave with good quality shaving foam but always end up with what look like red spots and a rash. How can i stop this from happening? I also get ingrown hairs.

Answer:
Maybe you might be pressing-on too hard, (when in a hurry, you are more likely to press-on and hack at your legs, thereby causing razor burn and cuts) Just let the razor rest on & glide over your legs with only gravity to press it on you. you will still cut the hairs like this, pressing on wont cut the hairs any shorter. ;-)

Question : What razor to use when shaving male pubic hair?
What razor should I use when shaving pubic hair? I read online that female razors is the best way to go, and to not use an electric razor. The only problem is that I do not own a female razor, and I would feel pretty weird if I went up to a local store and purchased a female razor. Any advice?

Answer:
you can use anything

Question : what is the best shaving razor for women?
I need to buy a shaving razor but I don't know which one is good. I've been using the regular gillete but that's not working so well. What shaving razors would you recommend? I mean to shave like leg and underarm hair? btw, are schik razors good? my mom uses one of those and it has two blades.

Answer:
I reccomend the Venus Embrace. I have a LOT of trouble finding a good razor - I had trouble with Gillete too. Once I tried the Venus, my legs and under arms were the smoothest they've been in MONTHS.. aka I could actually SKIP a day! Definitely check it out - plus there's satisfaction guaranteed, so what's to lose?!

Question : how do you get rid of irritaion from legs after shaving?
I've had razor irritation on my legs for the longest. Every time i shave I get red bumps on my legs. I ve tried mostly every type of razor and the schick quatro is the one that gives me the least irritaion. I dont have the kind of money to go out and wax my legs every week. And Nair really really irritates my legs. I've used shaving cream but it didnt help much. So is there anything i can do to get rid of irritation?

Answer:
You need to shave at the end of your shower. Let your legs absorb some moisture first. Use the quatro and use a moisturizing shave gel. Mosturize as soon as you get out of the shower. If you want to try waxing, you don't have to do it every week. The first couple of times it might only last 2 weeks or so, but the more you do it the longer the results last.
