Does the job...2/3rd of the way.

They don't continuously supply liquid until the end. You waste 1/3 of the gel in the end because the gel/liquid ratio isn't balanced.

Best Priced Holder; Very Functional and Simple

At $31 OTD, strangely enough, this Brush and Razor holder is on the more economical end of the scale. While I don't desperately need a novelty holder such as this, it kills me to think that the materials and labor needed to make this product are probably under the $1 range. My main reason for purchasing this holder was to allow my badger brush to hang upside down and hence last longer.

Needless to say, here is my review:

PROS:
1. Simple design. I don't like fancy designs and this design hits my mark.
2. Wide base. When razor and brush are hanging it will not flip over.
3. Razor holder has a rest as the base to prevent razor from moving on the stand.

CONS:
1. My standard Merkur safety razor is not tall enough. It hangs from the holster. Not a huge issue, the design apparently assumed the purchaser would use a standard razor.
2. Brush holder does not seat at the handle. IOW, the brush must be placed in the holder where the bristles and wood meet.

SUMMARY:
I recommend purchasing this model of holder as it will most assuredly fit your brush and razor. It is also one of the most economical holders available as well.

Great Stand

This is really a great stand. I can't really speak as to how the previous reviewer, Tyler U. "eclipse75", is using the brush stand...but it sounds like he's taking the very bottom of the Tweezerman brush and putting it in the stand. I too have the Tweezerman brush, and this is exactly what I did at first, and if you do this, then the stand is way to short. Then I realized that the handle of the brush actually narrows at the bristles and it fits perfectly in the stand leaving the badger hair plenty of space off the surface to dry out.

All in all, this stand does everything you need it to, and looks great as well. I highly recommend it. Just remember not to hang your brush by the very bottom of the handle. Hang it midway at the narrow part at the bristles.

Nice, still not tall enough..

So I just got this in the mail today. I have a Tweezerman badger brush and a Parker 89r. Eh the bristles from the brush sit on the ground, the stand is more of a prop for it to lean on.. holds my razor find though; any shorter of a razor though, and the gap between the top hook holder and the little base for it would be far. if you have a very short razor, then the bottom base will probably serve no purpose. i wish i would've got the pole stand :( still nice though if you prefer this style
