Questions & Answers
Question : What are those plastic cases that have the shavers in them for?
I was at Vons today and I have seen this in a bunch of grocery stores before. Is there a point to them?
sorry that this is the topic this goes in, i couldnt find anything else
Answer:
it's to prevent people under 18 from buying them (especially since the whole teen cutting thing took off). and it's also to prevent people from shop lifting them.

Question : wanting some info on cube ice shavers vs. block ice shavers?
we are planning on buying a commercial ice shaver and already have a ice machine that produces cube ice so we are wanting to use that ice. Our concern is that it will not produce a light enough "snow". any opinions on specific machines will be appreciated.
Answer:
I have a Snowie machine that uses cube ice. I think it works great. I am sure there are finer ice shavers on the market but I think this is a pretty good machine and I like the texture.
The syrups are great and we have enjoyed them. I think the key is the temperature of your ice and the sharpness of the blade. I haven't had to replace a blade yet and our ice is always hard, not semi frozen.
You can read more at www.snowie.com/
Good luck.

Question : How do I cure shavers neck?
I can't seem to find a way to cure the redness and bumps that occur after I shave my neck. Are there any good products or methods used to help smooth the skin and eliminate the bumps?
Answer:
This is not the answer you want to hear, but this is what I did. I suffered from the same problem. My beard hairs grow in all directions. Shaving was a torment. I always had bumps, redness, bleeding, ingrown hairs. I tried preshave treatments and postshave creams, aftershave, etc. I hated shaving, so I grew a beard. I keep it short and neat, and have found it to be a great alternative to shaving.
Since my neck was extra sensitive, I only use a trimmer on my neck; no razors to define my neckline. I cut my neck hairs really short with the trimmer (they look like a "5 o'clock shadow" after I trim them), but I never use a razor. This has stopped the bumps, redness, and ingrown hairs on my neck.
Before I grew a beard, I tried an electric razor and that helped to reduce the redness and bumps, but I still had some problems. Later, I just gave up shaving with any kind of razor.
I trim my beard once a week and that's it. It saves time in the mornings, money (from buying razors), lots of unnecessary suffering, and my wife likes the beard!
Hope this gives you some ideas.

Question : Is there a specific reason why women cannot use men's electric shavers on their legs?
I have a severe allergy to various ingredients in rubber, which is found on virtually all women's razor heads. It causes my legs to itch incessantly for a couple weeks after shaving. I have tried waxing, but my hair seems too fine for it to be effective. I bought a female electric razor and was disappointed with its level of "closeness." I have seen so many commercials for men's electric shavers that claim to achieve an extremely close shave. My question has many parts...
-Is there a particular men's electric shaver that works really well?
-Does anyone know a reason why one could NOT use this on their legs?
-Finally, if this endeavor seems fruitless, does anyone have a suggestion for alternative hair removal? (Other than laser, which I cannot afford).

Question : Can electric lady shavers and epilators be used in the pubic area?
Can electric lady shavers and epilators be used in the pubic area?
Answer:
The abrasive action of lady shavers can irritate the sensitive skin of the pubic area, and epilators are extremly risky, as not only can they give you a rash, if they enter the vagina, they completly throw off the natural balance, and you are practically garunteed a yeast infection. Try a shaver created especially for the pubic area. Shaved life is great...

Question : Do you think if Ernie Shavers had more stamina he would have beaten most anybody?
Guy just died in the 2nd half of the fight against Ali.
Answer:
Plus if he had a stronger chin and better defense he would had been champion. He had power but no stamina, defense and a weak chin. Some reports had stated his training was spotty at times. His second fight with Larry Holmes he got a beaten plus busted up. His face was target practice from start to finish. It was a good fight.

Question : How should I shave? razor or electric shavers?
I have a lot of acne on my face and I don't know what kind of razor is suitable for my skin.
What do you suggest: electric shavers e.g. Philips Norelco or razors e.g. Gillette Fusion Power?
If electric shaver is better, which kind of them will you suggest?
Philips CoolSkins, SpeedXL, arcitec, ...
Answer:
Well I'm a girl so I never shave my face, but I know from shaving my legs if you use a razor and you have a spot or bump on your legs it cuts you,so I think your only option it to use eletric shavers,The most well knowen brands are probable best, why not ask at a chemist or weaever you bye your saver, they bound to know what is most popular and what works best
good luck!

Question : What's the difference between electric shavers with foil and rotating heads, and which is the best one to buy?
Not interested in fancy extras such as 'Clean & Renew', and the shaver should be equipped with a MAINS facility at least.
Thanks for any recommendations guys!
Answer:
If you are black, get a philishave with rotating heads and different cutting degrees and moisturiser, cos them other ones are gonna mash your skin up. Black man's hair is different, a lot thicker and curlier. Don't get a foil one.
