Good replacement part. Product fits and works exactly as described. I get a good shave with the Braun if I replace the foil/cutter every 6 months.

It does help to buy a new screen and cutter every once in awhile.. I thought maybe I would have to buy a new electric razor, but once I bought this, it worked like it was brand new

Wahl Dynaflex super close foil head
I am very happy with this product. I have had this shaver for 5 years now and can not find any replacement for the last 4 months but found them here at amazon. Question : Can you contract any diseases from using rather old/used shavers?
My mum is too stingy too buy me and my sis new shavers. And we have a giant pile of old ones lying in the bathroom she says are fine too use.
But my friend told me if you use a month old or longer shaver then you can catch this skin disease which eats you from the inside out.
Is this true? please help?
Answer:
That's called staf. You can only get it if someone else who has it uses your razors or other bodily products. I'm 28 and I use disposable razors for about 2 weeks then I toss them. The older they are the more jagged the razor becomes and easier for you to cut yourself. But if your really worried about the old razors put some rubbing alcohol on it to sterilize them. If you still feel the way you do maybe you can get some from a close friend. One of your friends has to have a "cool mom" who will help you put. I would! Hope this helps.

Question : What's the difference between electric shavers with foil and rotating heads, and which is the best one to buy?
Not interested in fancy extras such as 'Clean & Renew', and the shaver should be equipped with a MAINS facility at least.

Answer:
If you are black, get a philishave with rotating heads and different cutting degrees and moisturiser, cos them other ones are gonna mash your skin up. Black man's hair is different, a lot thicker and curlier. Don't get a foil one.

I too used electric ones before:never a smooth shave
Switched to disposables:tried all kinds
Got now for a year the Phillips fusion mach 3:the best there is
The vibrating blades are way great and provide you with the smoothest shave ever.

I'm not talking about shaving every hair on your body, just removes some of them for a lighter look. Which ones are there?

Question : Which electric shavers, shave closer? The circular ones (with 3 circles) or the flat surfaced ones?
Has anyone used both types of electric shavers? And if so which do you like better? I've learned the expensive ones last longer but I don't want to waste money buying the wrong one. Thanks for reading.

Hubby was a manager of a personal grooming specialist store and he says...
It depends on a number of different things. Do you experience shaving rash, redness or swelling after, during a shave? If you do, the rotary (3 circles) are no good unless you pay top dollar for the new phillips arcitec range. Stick with Braun range of shavers from the 5000 series up, make sure they have the newer foil (top part) as it means less strokes up the face, hence less irritation.
If you have a thick beard (not a full beard but the individual hair is thick) unfortunately the Braun isn't as strong as it tries to express and it's off to the Phillips range. If you don't have the $490+ for the Arcitec then drop down to the 9190 or 9170, these last two have excellent battery life and exceptional power for the thicker beards.
If you are a shower shaver, don't buy the wet/dry shavers from phillips. The Panasonic wet/dry does a phenominal job and works better if you shave straight after a shower using a shaving balm. You'll get awesome results. One thing you want to remember, don't buy from the big department stores, they know nothing and won't be able to help you if something doesn't work as you wish.
There are always solutions to finding the best shave and you could definately do well to ask at the Shaver Shop for this kind of advice/assistance without the pressure.
He uses the Braun 360 and it gives him a great shave but he's got sensitive skin and not a thick beard. Any other advice, he does know his stuff. My bathroom is filled with stuff that makes it easier and it does an awesome job.

Question : wanting some info on cube ice shavers vs. block ice shavers?
we are planning on buying a commercial ice shaver and already have a ice machine that produces cube ice so we are wanting to use that ice. Our concern is that it will not produce a light enough "snow". any opinions on specific machines will be appreciated.

I have a Snowie machine that uses cube ice. I think it works great. I am sure there are finer ice shavers on the market but I think this is a pretty good machine and I like the texture.
The syrups are great and we have enjoyed them. I think the key is the temperature of your ice and the sharpness of the blade. I haven't had to replace a blade yet and our ice is always hard, not semi frozen.

Usually people say that you have to have a long hair to use an electric shaver. But I would prefer an electric shaver for everyday use if there are any.
do all these need a hair to be grown for 2 or 3 days to a week to use any electric shavers or can be used daily just like a mac razors.

The best as far as comfort (razor burn) and closeness is the Norelco Advantage that dispenses shave gel as you shave. Remember the cheaper the elector razor the more one sacrifices in comfort and closeness of trim. Shave gel cartridges cost about $1 and last for about a month. Norelco is the leader in the electric razor field with its circular cutting heads.
