Good product but avoid Price-Break
These refills works great. However, be careful which seller you are buying from. Last time Amazon did not have them in stock so I buy them through Price-Break (still at Amazon.com) and choose the expedited shipping. It took them 11 days to ship it to me. I am not sure what kinds of expedited shipping this is but I am sure I will never buy from them again.

Works great, a little pricey
I was skeptical of this product at first but decided to give it a try. It does work great. It is quite pricey so I only do the cleaning when it needs the intensive clean, about every 2-3 days. This also helps to prolong the use. I would recommend buying it on Subscribe and Save to save some money.

Keeps my shaver clean and also maintains the foil blades quite nicely. Recommended for peak performance.

Replacement heads for Norelco Razor
This product is exactly as advertised and was less expensive than the equivalent product I was bidding on at ebay.

Great Shaver!
My kids bought me this shaver for Christmas two years ago. I just had to buy new heads now. It has done a great job. Easy to use, gives a close shave, charge holds for a long time, easy to clean, light weight and good feel to the handle. The floating heads contour well to your face. I hate to see this shaver getting poor ratings, but I suppose if you are used to an older shaver any new shaver would be "Don't make them like they used to!".

Wasn't a Big Change
My old heads were 5 years old. Figured I needed news ones. But these seem to feel the same, maybe a little improvement.

Phillips Norelco HQ8 Spectra Tripleheader Replacement Heads
Tripleheaders Replacement Heads arrived in the proper time frame and was in excellent condition. Was very satisfied with the service and was able to use the razor in no time. Would use this service again with no problem.

Norelco replacement heads.
This was the third set of replacement heads purchased for this razor. The new heads always return the shaver to like new condition. I replace the heads once per year. The order arrived in a timely fashion without problems.

Well satisfied
My razor is again performing like new. I am well satisified with these heads. They cut at least as well as the heads supplied with the razor.
One thing I have learned is that I can't go a year between replacing the heads. Fortunately Amazon now offers a program to send the item each time interval, up to 6 months, that you specify. I signed up for this to be sure that I will get new heads every 6 months for a price below the listed price and with shipping free.

Back to Sharpness
The Philips Norelco HQ8 Spectra Tripleheader replacement heads for my razor are a critical part for obtaining a close shave. The heads should be a normal replacement every 12 months. Somehow the time slipped by and it was a longer time period before I purchased these new heads for my razor. They immediately returned the shaver to its close-shaving newness.
Rating :
It works as expected
It's a replacement part, so there's not much to say. Since it's from Norelco, then it ought to work as well as the original heads. That they do. If you have sensitive skin, like yours truly, it will take a few sessions for it and your skin to get used to each other. Afterwards, it works just fine.

Great upgrade
It had been about four years with the same shaver heads, and I noticed it was starting to run out of battery quickly and lose its ability to cut hairs. I received an e-mail from Norelco about a discount offer to purchase replacement heads, and I took them up on the opportunity. I am quite pleased with how things have gone so far - the reviews are right, in that it does feel like a wholly new shaver again. I will wait to see how long these replacement heads last, but I feel that it's been a worthy investment so far.

It works
It is really a matter of night and day as to how well a new set of blades work. Not only less scraping of the face, but a whole lot faster.
Recommend new blades every 12 to 18 months.
The blades from Amazon cost a little less than my local store and I will buy again.

Good As Always
After being frustrated with which new type of shaver to get, not to mention everyone elses reviews, I just ended up replacing the screens and blades of my Norelco 6885XL. It worked good when I bought it and still does with replacements.
Rating :
way too long
I went over two years before replacing the blades...way too long. It takes about a week before the new blades 'seat in' correctly. When you clean the heads, keep the blades and screens matched to each other. I got these through Amazon...good price, free shipping etc. Better deal than through a big box store. One happy camper!!

Replaced as suggested
Replaced shaver foil & cutter block on Braun 7680 after 18 months of use. There is an appreciable difference between the shave yesterday & today. Much closer & quicker. Seems less loud also. Foil & frame fit much tighter. I may swap out sooner next time. Medium coarse beard. Shave 5-6 times a week. Run it through the cleaner once a week.

Great savings over T***et Store price
What a great savings! The in-store price at a local "super" store was $29.99--Amazon's price is $19.99. Thanks for the great deal!!!

It is what it is
The product pretty much is what it is. It's a little expensive, but it has given my razor it's 'edge' back.

Best shave
Braun 7000 Series Syncro Pro / Syncro Replacement ComboRazor and blades are top notch. I alternate between a regular double edge (gave up on cartridge blades - to expensive and don't work as well as DE) and the Braun electric. The Braun is the best. I have tried Norelco and Panasonic and there is no comparison.I have a thick beard but with the talc pre shave, the Braun makes quick work of it. The cost is high for replacements but not as high as for Norelco or the cartridge blades which seem to be going out the ceiling, even at Costco's bulk price. It is worth the investment for the comfort and efficiency. Tip - shave with an electric before you shower in the morning.

weakened 7000-series foil
Be wary of the 7000FC replacment assembly. Much to my dismay, I went to purchase a replacement foil/cutter for my Syncro 7505 and found that Braun has changed the foil to the design used on the 8000-series shavers. The old 7000 foil had a "staggered grid" pattern on smooth metal. The new 7000 foil has the same "overlapping circles" pattern as the 8000-series foil.
This is a problem because my experience has shown that the 8000-series foil is exceptionally fragile/weak. This problem results in a hole appearing in the foil within 2-20 weeks after replacement. Here is a repeat of a review which I have placed in the Braun 8985 shaver category: ---------------- This is a followup to a review I previously posted about this product. It has become obvious that the foil on Braun 8000-series shavers is defective by design and/or manufacture because the foil goes bad WAY too often. I have used Braun 6000 and 7000 series shavers, and never had the bad experience I've had with the 8000-series shaver. I treat all my shavers carefully; nothing but my face, or tissue, touches the head. Here is my experience:
Oct 14 purchase a new Braun 8975 Dec 15 hole appears in foil Dec 21 replace foil+cutter (from Braun customer service) Jun 02 hole appears in foil Jun 03 replace foil+cutter Jun 17 hole appears in foil after only 2 weeks!
Really, at $28-$40 for the 8000FC foil & cutter assembly (you can't buy the foil separately), this product has become way too expensive to maintain. I'm going to take a clue from CR, which rated the Remington Microscreen a best-buy in Jun 08, and try the Remington. Hopefully it won't nickel-and-dime me to death.

Questions & Answers
Question : What's the best way to groom body/chest hair?
I recently bough an electric shaver, and I was wondering if it would be appropriate to use to get rid of chest/body hair?
I know that there are devices that are geared specifically for this, but I was wondering if guys sometimes just use a regular electric shaver for the removal of body hair?
Answer:
wax it but if your a wimp shave it. it'll grow back quick if you shave it though.

Question : Does anyone have any pictures or instructions for grooming a Yorkie-Poo dog?
The groomer that I just took my dog to, shaved his entire body! I was SO upset! He doesn't even look like the same dog! I wanted him groomed but with the hair still long. HELP! I need some pictures to carry to my next groomer or to possibly do it myself.
Obviously I would not burn my dog. I do not appreciate the comment either.
Answer:
I am guessing your groomer shaved your dog because the dog's fur was matted. Do you remember if your dog had a lot of tangles or knots? I believe a yorkie-poo is part poodle. Both poodles and yorkies need a lot of grooming, I would say monthly professional grooming is needed and you should brush your dog daily to help keep out the mats. Dogs tend to get mats around the ears, under their legs, on their tummys and near their bottoms. What happens if the dog isn't brushed and groomed regularly is the dogs hair get really tangled and then it is really uncomfortable for the dog because the mats pull on the skin, trap dirt, etc. Imagine if you didn't brush your hair for months. When dogs are really matted the most painless way to remove the mats is to shave them out. Otherwise, it could take several hours of painful brushing to try to remove the mats, which is very uncomfortable and traumatic for the dog. So as your dog's hair is growing out, really focus on brushing it to keep out the matting and then next time you go to the groomer they will be able to give your dog the cut you want. Now, on the other hand, if your dog wasn't matted, the groomer may have either misunderstood your instructions or they didn't want to take the time to get out a few mats. I would ask people you know for a recommendation on a good groomer. Not all groomers are equal in their ability and especially in how they treat the dogs. A good groomer should have explained why they shaved the dog, and he/she should have probably called you in advance of shaving the dog to let you know what they were going to do. Lastly, I would probably not encourage you to try to shave/trim the dog yourself. It is trickier then it looks and if you do it incorrectly, you can cut the dog pretty seriously. Feel free to brush and bathe your pup at home though to keep the dogs coat in good condition. You happen to have a breed of dog that requires a lot of grooming, so it will be better for the dog and you if you can work on regular maintenance of the coat. Hope this helps!

Question : more grooming products...?
Hi. Can people list me some good grooming products for my twh mare? She's black. I want grooming products for her body, mane, tail, hooves, and face. She has a white stripe down her face, i want something to brihten it up. Please post products for all of the above. Thanks, Brianna
Answer:
Oh basic brushing and grooming you want a curry comb, there are 2 types a metal shedding curry and a rubber curry. I have one of each. You want a face brush. it's small and mad eof super soft bristles so you can safely groom around her face. Then there are the body brushes. Once again there are several types I have one of each texture a stiff one for whisking away dry mud , a med bristled one for a slightly deeper cleaning and getting the finer stuff off and a soft body brush for slicking the hair back down and putting a lil shine to it. Mane and tail you'll want a mane and tail comb or brush but don't brush the hair all the time as it breaks the shafts and will amke a shirter britle mane or tail. Brush maybe once a week. Definately use some sort of condiotner detangler when you do brush it to help prevent tangles and damage. As far as shampoos go there is a line of color enhancing shampoos by Rio Vista. they work awesome. Now for a conditoner after shampoosing I actually like to use Cholesterol on their manes and tails. it's the stuff that ethnic girls use ontheir hair. You slather it in, let it sit and then rinse out, leaves hair super shiny and softer AND helps it grow!!! As for the white strip down her face you can wash it with white n brite shampoo but don't wash her head like you do her body, do whats called hot towel batheing. Fill up 2 buckets of hot water (not too hot tho) and get a bunch of white rags. Dunk one rag into a bucket of clean warm water , wring it out until it is just damp, not dripping and add a drop of shampoo to the rag. Work the shampoo up and down the blaze well. Dunk and rewring that rag as needed to get the blaze slightly sudzy . Then take a clean rag dunk in the 2nd bucket wring and "rinse it away with the non sudsy rag) For the hooves unless you are showing I would just keep a good hoof condiotner on them such as Rain maker , hoof heal or hoofflex. Also you will need a hoof pic to clean her hooves out and in case of thrush keep some Thrush Buster on hand. One application cures the thrush right up. Hope this helps

Question : what is this obsession with body hair?
I don't understand the obsession with removing body hair and looking pre-pubescent. I feel that one should groom themselves, yes, but not to the point of looking like a hairless breed of feline. It's disgusting and I wish that it would end. some of us don't have the ability to look like pornstars, strippers, or models. I thought that body hair was a sign that one was an adult or at least mature physically. Does this movement to get rid of body hair mean that no one wants to look mature anymore? This obsession with body hair is pissing me off!!!!!
Answer:
yes...we must bring back hairy kitties!

Question : What causes a body odor even if your very hygienic and health conscious?
I have friend that is very well groomed and health concious, eating the right food and taking a bath though not often as in every other day because he gets feverish if he always wet his hair specially in cold season but the problem is he still have a body odor and I gently advise him to use deodorant and he tried but he gets allergies in the armpit so he stopped. I wish I could help him but even I hesitate to mentioned that too much to him for fear of hurting his feelings. How can I help him to lessen the smell in natural way without resorting to surgery?
please advise.
Answer:
That's not so very hygienic and health conscious. Body odour is caused by bacteria. The natural oils and moisture that your skin releases protects you and attracts bacteria. Some people are afflicted worse than others.
I don't think there is surgery for it... you seem to know.... but to rid yourself of dreadful body odor, there is no good answer, but to bathe regularly, replacing those natural oils with something scented that is more appealing. There are low allergy soaps available. Salty water is also good btw. An anti-bacterial soap with lavender for example.... a good quality shampoo and conditioner used daily will also help conceal it... and an antiperspirant deoderant with a matching cologne.....
oh,... and maybe this person bathes twice a day but wears the same clothes for a week... so a good quality scented washing powder and regular change of clothes is also a useful ploy to adopt.....
How do you handle this as friend? Go to the laundromat together?.. Nope. talk about it.. people don't learn unless they communicate.... you get to learn how to be diplomatic and achieve what you set out to.. they learn to smell like a rose...
If none of these alternatives work, then I understand there are prescriptive medications available for these symptoms.

Question : If your body was a car, would you buy it?
With all the grooming, the cleaning the trimming. Theres the inefficient fuel consumption, the constant fluid replacement, and the weird smell coming from the trunk.
What would you add or subtract to make your body better? More efficient? More user friendly?
Answer:
Sure! It's gotten me wherever I wanted to go; picked up it's "share" of pretty "hitch-hikers" along the way; still gets GREAT miles-per-gallon... AND, it's had surprisingly FEW "breakdowns"- considering some of the rough "roads" I've taken it over... So by & large, I certainly got a good deal on THIS model, & would buy it again- in a heartbeat. :)

Question : about male body hair?
I am an 18 year old male living in a college dorm. Above the waist I am not that hairy (peach fuzz on my back and a small superman patch on my chest, normal armpit hair), but below the waist I am a completely different person. My legs and, I am embarrassed to say my bum, are pretty hairy (I believe my genitals are normal though). I am very self conscious about this fact. I use a body groom to trim it back (though it grows quickly). My question is: do women find alot of hair on the legs (and maybe bum) of a man disgusting, and what would they think if they found out about my use of a bodygroom?
Answer:
It's a normal thing for a guy..

Question : What is your opnion of men who shave their body hair?
Personally, they look like plucked chickens. But, now it seems to be a common practice.
Does this practice invade personal grooming and based in what our media says what is sexy? Or am I out of touch?
Now, some men are naturally hairless, and that's fine, but that's not what I'm addressing.
Answer:
I don't like lots of hair...I don't wanna be able to run my fingers through it...but at the same time I also don't really like shaved...Trimmed is for me....
Guess i'm kinda like goldie locks.......too much, too little , jst right.....hope the bears don't come home...
but seriously I think it's sexy to see the male form with body hair trimmed and shaped a bit...
Peace and Love

Question : Can someone shine some light on the ever so popular topic of mens body grooming??
I am a hairy guy.... no doubt. i recently waxed my whole upper body. i unfortunately have a rug on my butt and legs and it looks akward with my now clean torso and arms. i do not want to wax any more and i have started to groom with a norleco bodygroom. should i do my legs also? it really does look weird. And girls... does a shaved or hairless body bother you? i honestly think it looks better then my ape like qualities.... please help thanks!
Answer:
well, if you feel better being hair-less than that should be good for you. I've dated guys on the swim team - and they are sometimes hairless. I've dated other guys who have hair. What mostly matters to girls is the type of person you are - if your a jerk or really nice. It doesn't matter about the hair so dont worry - just worry about the type of person you are
